Our lifestyle farming story

In the late 80s, after gathering a very basic understanding of farming practices, we moved our family from the city to a property in Berry NSW, with a dream of one day having a rural enterprise and a property of our own.

Commencing with a 2 acre, semi-rural property, progressing to 5 acres and then to 115 acres, we built up our knowledge through studying agricultural subjects of interest, hands on experience and guidance from the local community.

Lifestyle-Farming-Paul-Gibson-300px-wideIn the 25 years since commencing our venture we have learnt the numerous aspects of small acreage farming and have been able to successfully establish a small commercial boutique vineyard, a cattle breeding enterprise, a small sheep flock, as well as managing some horses and poultry.

We feel that the level of knowledge we have gained during these years could be best shared with, and to the benefit of, other prospective people who are either considering a lifestyle change or requiring guidance in elementary farming principles.

With friends who have experience and knowledge with alpacas, beekeeping and small scale vegetable production, we also offer guidance on these subjects.

We look forward to helping you commence your own lifestyle farming journey.
